Warm Hands was delighted to partner with South Vancouver Neighbourhood House last week for a fun senior workshop. Our Cantonese-speaking participants created beautiful Chinese-style ornaments through a simple sewing activity and took them home with smiles .

We were delighted to share practical skills with seniors, including how to use AI wisely, translation, QR code scanning, and identifying fake information. We were delighted to be invited by South Granville Seniors Centre last Friday to lead a workshop on cognitive stimulation and physical exercise. Together with the seniors, we enjoyed fun activities such as the Hand-Thrown Umbrella Game, Sensory Guessing Box, and Describe Without Saying. These interactive games encouraged gentle hand-eye coordination, mobility, and muscle activity while bringing lots of smiles and laughter.

It was a pleasure connecting with everyone, and we hope our session helps more people feel informed and supported in finding the right care for their loved ones.

We’re so glad to have hosted a workshop yesterday at the Alice Frith Centre – Renfrew Collingwood Senior Society! It was a wonderful afternoon spent with the seniors, sharing laughter, conversations, and creativity. Everyone enjoyed making their own massage sticks, and it was heartwarming to see so much engagement and joy throughout the session.

In the first quarter, we made strong progress in expanding our impact and strengthening community connections. We served over 135 clients and delivered more than 555 hours of service through 150+ home care visits. In addition, we built meaningful relationships by establishing 19 organizational partnerships, collaborating with 36 insurance providers, and connecting with 47 new community contacts—laying a solid foundation for continued growth and support.
